The National Compliance and Regulatory Authority (NCRA) is committed to quality while conforming to the requirements of:

  • ISO/IEC 17020:2012
  • Standards Act and attendant regulations
  • Processed Food Act and attendant regulations
  • Weights and Measures Act and attendant regulations
  • Petroleum Quality Control Act
  • Trade Orders
  • Standard Specifications
  • Other applicable legislations

 

NCRA operates impartially in the execution of its regulatory activities and is committed to continually improving our Quality Management System.

We commit to the effective and efficient development and delivery of our products and services through visionary leadership, public education, consultation and team work.

 

QUALITY OBJECTIVES

The National Compliance and Regulatory Authority quality objectives are:

 

  • Provide quality products and services that meet the requirements, needs and expectations of our internal and external clients and stakeholders
  • Comply with the provisions of the governing legislations and all other enactments relevant to our operations
  • Implement and maintain conformity to ISO/IEC 17020 Standard
  • Determine risks that may affect our operations and address them; identify opportunities that may arise and continually improve our processes
  • Provide our employees with the necessary resources, including training and equipment, and establish and maintain a working environment that supports the provision of quality products and services to all clients and stakeholders and
  • Review policies, objectives and targets annually, in consideration of our internal and external clients and stakeholders.
